Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that Erin M. Shaughnessy has joined the firm as an associate in the Louisville office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Erin spent several years at a regional full-service law firm where she worked as a litigation associate handling a variety of civil matters including labor and employment cases. In this role, Erin conducted interviews and depositions and drafted briefs in matters before the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Kentucky Supreme Court, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
At Fisher Phillips, Erin will continue as a litigator defending employers in workplace law disputes and will advise companies on compliance with a wide range of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.
Erin earned her law degree from the University of Louisville Brandies School of Law where she served as Senior Articles Editor for the University of Louisville Law Review and was a member of the Robert F. Wagner Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Team. Before law school, she graduated summa cum laude from Murray State University.
