Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is pleased to announce that John Doty has joined the firm as an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, John was an associate in a mid-size law firm where he drafted motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and discovery and provided advice and counsel to clients. He has experience working with clients across various labor and employment law areas, including employment litigation, preventative counseling, and labor relations disputes.
At Fisher Phillips, he will continue defending employers in lawsuits involving a variety of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.
John earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami, where he was an Articles and Comments Editor and the Symposium & Events Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review. He graduated with a B.A., cum laude, from Texas Christian University.
