Eryne Walvekar Rejoins Fisher Phillips in Seattle

Fisher Phillips, an international labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that Eryne Walvekar has rejoined the firm as Of Counsel in the Seattle office.
Eryne has practiced in the immigration arena for a decade serving as an Associate at two Seattle-based law firms before joining Fisher Phillips in 2019. She was most recently at an international AmLaw100 firm where she represented employers in all areas of business immigration, including temporary employment authorization, PERM labor certification, and permanent residence. Eryne now returns to Fisher Phillips where she will once again be an integral part of the firm’s Immigration Practice Group counseling companies on all aspects of employment authorization, immigration sponsorship policies, and general enforcement and compliance.
Eryne is a thought leader in the employment immigration space, and she regularly speaks and writes for organizations including the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law where she participated in the Immigration Law Clinic and served as Executive Comments Editor for the Washington International Law Journal. And, during law school, Eryne served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ricardo S. Martinez, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington and interned in the Office of Disciplinary Counsel for the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.
