Doing Business in Mexico: PEOs and EORs
Event
9.26.24
2:00 PM — 3:00 PM EST
When doing business in Mexico, utilizing Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and Employer of Record (EOR) services can offer significant advantages, particularly for companies looking to expand without establishing a formal presence or dealing with local employment laws directly.
Some of the benefits of using a PEO or an EOR are ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws, which can be complex and subject to frequent changes, managing employee benefits which can be challenging to navigate in a new market, processing payroll and tax withholding, minimizing the risk of errors and legal issues and provide local expertise and knowledge, which is invaluable in understanding regional employment practices and regulations.
However, these arrangements come at a cost, not only financial. Employer should be sure they understand how these arrangements work, which would be best suited to their business' goals and how to choose the best PEO or EOR partner.
Join Fisher Phillips attorneys, Germán De La Garza De Vecchi and Adriana P. Mayo as they guide attendees through a discussion of the nuances of these relationship in Mexico.
