Conversations with a Coach - Byte-Sized Success: AI Integration, Adoption and Legal Compliance in the Workplace
Event
5.16.24
2:00 PM — 3:00 PM EST
The rapid adoption of virtual meeting platforms during the pandemic was just the beginning of an acceleration in employers’ use of new technologies in the workplace. Organizations are integrating AI-based technology into every facet of their business, often at an aggressive pace and without the methodical approach that we had come to expect before the pandemic. Erin Gibson Allen, a labor and employment attorney at Fisher Phillips, will sit down with Judy Johnson, an executive coach and Vice President & Managing Director of Organizational Effectiveness Practice at Aspirant, to talk about how employers are effectively and strategically rolling out and adopting new technology, including artificial intelligence-based programs. The roll-out of productivity tools, content creation tools, and new processes have the promise of increased speed, quality, and efficiency but those results often hinge on how the adoption of the new technology is introduced and embraced. Judy will talk about the importance of setting guidelines, clarifying roles, providing training, and adequate support in driving adoption. Also, Erin will highlight legal issues employers need to keep in mind when adopting and using artificial intelligence, including the use of AI in recruiting and hiring and adopting policies that establish boundaries on the use of AI in the workplace. |
