In an interview with CNN Business, Monica Snyder Perl discusses New York State’s new law requiring employers with four or more employees to disclose in any job listing the minimum and maximum salary or wage range the employer expects to pay the person hired for the position.
With more states and cities implementing pay transparency laws, Monica explains that these varying pay disclosure requirements are making it difficult for multistate employers to navigate. “Given all the complexities, some multistate employers are trying to unify how they present information for job openings so that their disclosures meet the most stringent legal requirements,” Monica said.
