Event

Cost to attend: $49 per person
On June 20, 2024, California regulators are set to vote on an extensive heat illness standard applicable to indoor work areas where the temperature reaches 82 degrees Fahrenheit. The rule, before the Cal/OSHA Standards Board, will pose significant challenges for California employers, particularly those operating in warehouses, distribution centers, hangars and manufacturing plants where indoor temperatures may be difficult to control. The rule is expected to be adopted and take effect this summer.
This webinar will delve into what employers need to do to prepare for the new standard. We will cover the essential elements that must be included in employers' Indoor Heat Illness Prevention Plans and offer practical tips for implementing these plans to comply with the new law and otherwise minimize legal exposure, and keep employees safe.
The firm will submit this program for HRCI and SHRM credit.
